Assessment & Accountability (TExES)

Welcome to the Office of Assessment & Accountability TExES
E-mail: Office: 936-468-1607

Please note: In order to take TExES exams, you must provide one of the following primary ID documents for admission to a test center: passport, driver's license, state or providence ID card, national ID card, or military ID card. You will be photographed and fingerprinted as confirmation of your identity. At some CAT testing centers, the use of electronic detection scanning devices (e.g., hand-held detectors/wands) has also been implemented. Failure to comply with these security measures will result in dismissal from the test and forfeiture of your test fees.

All Stephen F. Austin State University candidates must submit a clearance application to the Office of Assessment and Accountability in order to be approved for state exams (see Important Links to Right). Upon submission of the clearance form and approval from your advisor/department to test you will receive an e-mail from this office with instructions for registering. Please read the instructions all the way through before proceeding.
