The James I. Perkins College of Education (PCOE) at Stephen F. Austin State University is a reflection of the successes and achievements of its students, faculty, administration, and staff. Online Programs

 

Master of Arts in Teaching degree is an exciting and innovative graduate program that prepares teachers for leadership positions in the secondary school setting.The learning outcomes of this 36-hour graduate degree program are based on the NCATE standards. Thesis and non-thesis options are available.

Master's of Education, Early Childhood - $8,150; 36 credit hours

Master's of Education, Educational Leadership, Principal's Certification- $5,500; 30 credit hours

Master of Education, Elementary Education, $260 per credit hour; This degree is fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Master of Education Reading Specialist, $260 per credit hour; This program offers a Master of Education degree with an all-level Professional Reading Specialist certification.

BSIS - EC-6 Degree Completer program and BSIS - 4-8 Degree Completer program, These innovative programs will allow paraprofessionals (instructional aides) working in Texas public schools and other qualified individuals who have completed at least 45 hours at community colleges to seamlessly transfer to SFASU and complete online a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (BSIS) degree with a concentration in special education and EC-12 special education teacher certification.
